An aerial reconnaissance operator about SHARK UAV
An aerial reconnaissance operator using the call sign "Navigator" gave an interview to the "Come Back Alive" team, where he discussed working with the SHARK UAV.
The Navigator's crew received the SHARK reconnaissance system in June 2023, and since then, they have used it to eliminate 23 enemy units, including 11 howitzers, six armored vehicles, two "Gvozdika" self-propelled artillery units, one "Akatsiya" howitzer, and three enemy military vehicles.
"The importance of unmanned aviation in the current war is immense. These are the eyes of our artillery. In the Kharkiv operation, we located targets in places where not every scout would go or reach due to heavy minefields. Not to mention that the SHARK operates at such a tactical depth where it's virtually impossible for a person to go. Our top priorities are enemy self-propelled artillery divisions and enemy jamming and electronic warfare stations, which are heavily protected. And we have the capability to bypass the enemy's jamming efforts and reach them."
"In the SHARK, real-time tracking, high-quality imagery, and especially a good stabilizer are crucial. Not every UAV has these features, and when the aircraft is under jamming, in turbulence, it's not always possible to focus on the target. But with the SHARK, you fix it and keep it in your sights all the time. It's fantastic."
