Another PD-2 is heading out on a hunt for HIMARS!

The Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has received a PD-2 complex, which consists of:

▪️ Two reconnaissance UAVs.

▪️ Ground control station.

▪️ Mobile command post equipped with a 4x4 microbus.

PD-2 is a domestically manufactured operational-tactical level complex. It has a flight radius of over 200 kilometers, can stay airborne for up to 12 hours, and is capable of tracking the movement of mobile targets to adjust fire and gather intelligence for HIMARS and other long-range systems.

Each UAV is equipped with an observation station with 30x zoom for the daylight channel and 5x for thermal imaging, allowing for detailed reconnaissance at distances of up to 5 kilometers and even farther for surveillance.

In total, last year the Come Back Alive foundation contracted 11 such complexes. We purchased 10 of them for over 300,000,000 hryvnias through donations to the general "Come Back Alive" fund. The funds for another complex were raised by the IT community DOU. Our friends from Uklon also joined the DOU campaign, donating one million hryvnias for the PD-2 and supporting the initiative with push notifications in their own app.

Another PD-2 UAS complex is ready for hunting alongside HIMARS.
