PD-2 UAV can carry a wide range of different payloads. The standard ISTAR equipment includes the aerophotogrammetry package and the USG-212 EO/IR gimbal or USG-211 EO gimbal. Both camera gimbals feature 30x optical zoom, digital video stabilization, and target tracking.
Third-party gimbals from world well-known manufacturers may be installed instead. Furthermore, there is still enough space in the payload compartment to carry a secondary optional payload.

To be sure in the technical details we state, we’ve performed a number of relentless tests of the PD-2 UAS with the help of the State Research Institute for Testing and Certification of Arms and Military Equipment of Ukraine.
PD-2 unmanned aerial systems are currently on active service in Ukrainian Armed Forces. Our systems are permanently operated to perform various military tasks. The solution has received positive feedback from Ukrainian Army officers, drone operators, and intelligence agents.

Here's footage of the USG-212 EO/IR gimbal installed on a PD-1 VTOL fixed-wing drone. USG-212 gimbal is a great tool for ISR applications. It is powered by significant ground control software allowing the payload operator to be more effective and saving a lot of time preparing the report after the mission.
